    Xiaoyuan Robot and Deep Robotics have formed an agreement to develop smart patrol and inspection solutions. The partnership brings Deep Robotics’ quadruped mobile, Uniview’s camera and visual sensing systems, and Xiaoyuan integration expertise together to accelerate the deployment artificial intelligence-powered systems for urban safety.
  • Horizon Robotics will raise HKD 4,67 billion (USD 594.9m) through a share placement to support its business expansion and R&D. The self-driving chips maker will sell 681,000,000 shares at HKD 6,93 (USD 0.9), with support from existing investors, placement agents Goldman Sachs Morgan Stanley and UBS. This is in response to the bullish sentiments in Hong Kong. —

  • Nanjing has launched an action plan aimed at growing its embodied AI industry to more than RMB 10 billion ($ 1.4 billion) in 2027. The city announced a dedicated alliance and industry park at a conference on June 11, aiming to support over 150 companies and scale up mass production. The plan includes new R&D centers, data labs and pilot deployments within the public sector. —

The system, according to reports, combines gait information, adversarial network, and real-world feed-back in order to improve energy efficiency, stability, as well as human-like agility. —

  • China has launched a three year pilot project to deploy eldercare robotics in homes, communities and institutions. The goal is to alleviate labor shortages and improve the quality of life for seniors. The initiative, which is backed by state ministries and includes more than 200 trials, promotes standard development and includes over 200 tests. By 2035, the elderly will account for over 30% of all population. TikTok opens first showroom in Ho Chi Minh City.
  • TikTok launched its first showroom in Ho Chi Minh City.

    TikTok opened its first offline store in Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Binh District, which offers product displays, daily live streams, and live sampling. The center will host closed-door merchant workshops and monthly content creator events to enhance product engagement. Ebrun

    Gojek migrates its services to Tencent Cloud.

    ASD plans Vietnam investment

    Chinese appliance maker ASD will invest up to RMB150 million (USD21 million) in Vietnam for the development of cookware, small appliances and industrial robots.
