InnoEX 2026 and Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition): Showcasing the Future of Innovation and Technology
The Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau (ITIB) of the Hong Kong SAR Government, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), proudly inaugurates InnoEX 2026 today. Running concurrently with the HKTDC’s Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) (EFSE) for four days at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, these premier events unite global leaders in innovation and technology under the inspiring theme “Innovate • Automate • Elevate”. Together, they spotlight breakthroughs in artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and cutting-edge electronics, while offering a rich program of forums, seminars, business matchmaking, and networking opportunities. These activities align closely with the National 15th Five-Year Plan and Hong Kong’s strategic innovation and technology (I&T) development goals outlined in the latest government budget, attracting a diverse international audience of tech enterprises, startups, and buyers eager to explore new partnerships and market prospects.
Expanding Horizons: Over 2,800 Exhibitors from 27 Countries
Jenny Koo, Deputy Executive Director of the HKTDC, emphasized the organization’s dedication to cultivating world-class platforms that encourage cross-border, cross-industry, and cross-sector collaboration, reinforcing Hong Kong’s status as a global innovation hub. This year’s InnoEX and EFSE feature more than 2,800 exhibitors representing 27 countries and regions, showcasing AI-driven innovations and advanced electronic products. A standout attraction is the debut of “RoboPark”, a dedicated zone uniting robotics companies from Hong Kong, Mainland China, and overseas. RoboPark presents over 100 robots across diverse applications, fostering industrial collaboration and accelerating Hong Kong’s emergence as a leading international I&T center in line with national development strategies.
RoboPark: A Robotics Showcase Bridging Regions and Industries
RoboPark, spanning both InnoEX and EFSE, features a stellar lineup of exhibitors, including four of the world’s top five best-selling humanoid robot manufacturers: AgiBot, Unitree, UBTECH, and EngineAI. These companies are recognized among the elite “Hangzhou Six Little Dragons” and “Shenzhen’s Eight Great Guardians of Embodied Intelligence,” respectively. Additional participants from Shenzhen’s robotics elite include AI² Robotics, LimX Dynamics, PaXini, and Digit Robotics.
Unitree Robotics (Booth: 3CON-E01) is unveiling its next-generation quadruped robot dog, the Unitree A2, marking its first exhibition outside Mainland China. This agile robot can sprint up to 5 meters per second and climb obstacles up to 1 meter high. Equipped with ultra-wide-angle LiDAR sensors, it offers real-time 3D environmental mapping and recognition. Designed for commercial and industrial use, the Unitree A2 can endure the weight of a 100 kg adult jumping on its back and navigate challenging terrains such as gravel with stability.
Hong Kong-based Rice Robotics (Booth: 3CON-J07) is showcasing autonomous robots tailored for repetitive tasks in buildings and offices, including delivery, cleaning, disinfection, and security patrols. Utilizing proprietary navigation technology integrated with elevators and access control systems, these robots operate fully autonomously and have been widely adopted by major Japanese enterprises like SoftBank, 7-Eleven Japan, and Mitsui Fudosan. International participants from the UK, Israel, the Philippines, and Singapore will also present their latest robotics innovations. The RoboPark zone will host around 40 events, including live demos, application sharing, and interactive showcases, facilitating global expansion for Mainland Chinese companies and fostering collaboration between Hong Kong and international firms.
Global Participation and Cutting-Edge Technologies at InnoEX
InnoEX 2026 features over 550 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions, welcoming first-time participants from Austria, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, the Philippines, and the United States. This diverse representation underscores Hong Kong’s growing reputation as a premier I&T platform. Mainland China maintains strong involvement with 18 delegations from 17 provinces and cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. Highlighting the event’s global significance, Dr. Gerd MĂĽller, Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), leads a delegation to promote international I&T collaboration and new industrialization.

AI+ Innovations and Smart City Solutions
The Digital Policy Office presents the “Smart Hong Kong Pavilion” under the theme “AI+ Hong Kong,” featuring over 20 government departments and public organizations alongside award-winning projects from local innovators and students. A highlight is the Water Supplies Department’s “Smart Inspection Robot Dog,” an AI-powered multi-sensor robot designed for autonomous patrols and water facility monitoring.
First-time exhibitor Tencent Cloud (Booth: 3D-A23) showcases AI solutions such as SuperApp and PalmAI, empowering enterprises to develop their own mini-program ecosystems, enhancing digital transformation capabilities.
Robotics and AI-Driven Inspection Technologies
Wildfaces, Lenovo, and Intel (Booths: 3CON-J12 and 3D-A27) jointly introduce a patented real-time AI fault detection system that employs drones and WildAI software to identify anomalies in confined or hazardous environments. This innovation replaces risky manual inspections, improving safety and efficiency.
Advancing the Low-Altitude Economy
Aligned with the government’s vision to establish Hong Kong as a leading hub for low-altitude applications, several exhibitors present pioneering R&D achievements. China Mobile Hong Kong (Booth: 3D-C11) demonstrates a drone traffic management system integrating low-altitude logistics delivery and intelligent inspection, alongside 5G+ satellite connectivity solutions for seamless communication coverage.
InnoEX collaborates for the first time with the Working Group on Developing Low-Altitude Economy to host the LAE Development Conference on April 15. Speakers include Bakhtiyar Mukhametkaliyev, Vice Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan, who will share insights on local low-altitude economy growth. The conference will also feature policy analysis and market potential discussions, exploring Hong Kong’s application scenarios and collaboration opportunities. The newly established Low-altitude Economy Zone showcases related technologies from companies such as Transcendence, Harmony SkyTech, and Damoda.

The EFSE, a premier global electronics trading platform, features exhibitors from 15 countries and regions, including newcomers Australia, France, Macao, and Thailand. The fair highlights innovations across three main categories: Smart Home & Solutions, Health Tech & Gadgets, and Pet Intelligence. Approximately 60 new products make their debut, such as the “BG120 Smart Sports Glasses” by Infinite Import & Export (Booth: 5CON-S28), which support calling, music playback, magnetic charging, and AI voice assistant activation. Hunan Greatwall Computer System Co., Ltd. (Booth: 1B-D16) introduces the “Great Wall Dragon Armor” Mini PC series, designed for applications like Open Claw.

Dongguan Tianluo Electronics Technology (Booth: 3G-E09) presents a Smart Wireless Video Door Phone featuring a wireless design that operates without internet connectivity, enabling extended transmission distances. Users can view live footage and remotely answer calls or unlock doors via a mobile app from anywhere worldwide.
Health Tech for an Ageing Population
With rising demand for elderly care products, the EFSE promotes the “Smart Ageing Products” label to assist buyers. Zhongyuan Innovation (HK) Limited (Booth: 1C-C06) unveils the AI Smart Elderly Care Kit, comprising a smart ring and an ultra-thin AI SOS monitoring band. These devices continuously track blood oxygen, heart rate, and respiratory rate, using AI to detect anomalies in real time and alert emergency contacts, enhancing home safety for seniors.
Pet Intelligence: Enhancing Care with AI
The booming pet economy is reflected in innovative products combining AI, sensing technology, and smart home integration. Tuya Hong Kong Limited (Booth: 1B-F02) introduces the Aura AI Pet Robot, a generative AI-powered companion that integrates daily care, entertainment, and ecosystem functions. Its dual-purpose design combines a robotic companion with food storage, addressing needs such as companionship, cleaning, and feeding to create a nurturing environment for pets.
Thematic Zones and Immersive Experiences
The EFSE features around 30 thematic zones, including the prestigious Hall of Fame, the dynamic Startup Zone, and the interactive Immersive Experience Zone. The Hall of Fame showcases products and solutions from over 550 renowned brands. The Startup Zone gathers more than 60 emerging companies and young entrepreneurs, including participants from Hong Kong IoT, Angel Investment Foundation, and Shenzhen InnoX Academy. The Immersive Experience Zone offers visitors engaging VR, AR, and XR demonstrations, such as the “VR Dragon Boat Experience” and the “Smart Tattoo Trial Machine,” highlighting local I&T creativity.
Comprehensive Forums and Networking Events
Throughout the four-day event, over 100 forums and exchange activities will convene industry leaders, experts, academics, and buyers to discuss the latest trends, technological breakthroughs, and practical applications. The Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises will host a seminar on April 14 titled “Driving Innovation and Industry Development through China’s Next Five-Year Roadmap”. This session features successful enterprises like JD Group, Ant Group, and Pfizer, sharing insights on leveraging Hong Kong as a strategic base for expansion into the Greater Bay Area and Asia-Pacific markets.
A new Go Global Consultation Zone offers on-site advisory services from organizations such as the Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation, the Hong Kong Productivity Council, and Invest Hong Kong, providing tailored support for businesses aiming to internationalize.
BIT Week 2026: A Celebration of Innovation and Technology
The Business of Innovation and Technology Week (BIT Week), jointly organized by the ITIB and HKTDC, returns with a rich lineup of events. Alongside InnoEX, EFSE, and the Smart Lighting Expo, BIT Week features the 3rd Hong Kong World Youth Science Conference, the Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2026 focusing on internet technologies, and the inaugural International Academicians Hong Kong Forum. The forum explores dual themes of “Artificial Intelligence and Ageing” and “Artificial Intelligence and Education.”
Concurrently, the World Internet Conference Asia Pacific Summit, hosted by the World Internet Conference (WIC) and co-organized by the HKSAR Government and ITIB, takes place. This summit emphasizes innovation and technology in the Asia Pacific region, fostering global digital innovation, complementing BIT Week activities, and reinforcing Hong Kong’s role as a regional digital and I&T hub.
