Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 were recently accused of using AI voices. But publisher Blizzard says that is not the case.

Elliott’s comments about the Overwatch situation sound a little more complicated than the Diablo situation, as he seems to imply there is more to it than a simple bug.

For now, it doesn’t appear that the publisher is going down the generative AI path with these two games, since Steam requires developers to disclose if they are using AI. Activision Blizzard isn’t shy on the topic.
