On Sunday, Luxshare Robotics began construction of its new headquarters in Changshu, Jiangsu. The investment total is RMB 5 billion (690 million dollars). The 145,000-square meter facility, located in the Changshu Intelligent Computing Future City will focus on industrial robotic R&D, manufacturing of intelligent equipment, and automation solutions. Once operational, it is expected that the base will generate an annual output worth RMB 10 billion ($1.38billion) and house a research and production team of 3,000. It will be a fully-fledged hub for industrial development, equipment procurement and system integration. The Suzhou Intelligent Robotics Industry Innovation Alliance also was launched during the groundbreaking ceremony. Luxshare Precision is partnering with more than 20 leading companies from the Yangtze River Delta in order to create a robust ecosystem that spans R&D, industrial application, and commercialization.[
