This Xbox Adaptive Joystick has a sleek and simple design. The flat top of the joystick features a single analogstick that can be pushed into place, similar to those found on the Xbox Wireless Controller. The joystick has one bumper and one trigger style button on the front, while four face buttons are located in the middle of the device.
The Xbox Adaptive Joystick allows players to customize their button layout. The Xbox Accessories app, which is available both on console and PC, allows users to create and swap between different button profiles.
The Xbox Adaptive Controller also appears to be a hassle-free setup. It will work seamlessly with Xbox Series consoles as well as Windows PCs, since it is a Windows device. Microsoft’s accessibility efforts on Xbox have been impressive. Specialized controllers are available to meet the needs disabled players. Sony has also made an accessibility effort with the PlayStation Access Controller, which was rated four out of five by our managing editor Rob Dwiar in his review.
