Serve Robotics Launches Autonomous Delivery Service in Atlanta With Uber Eats (19459000)

(RTTNews ) – Serve Robotics Inc. has launched operations in Atlanta metro area. This is the latest expansion of its collaboration with Uber Eats.

This follows successful launches in Los Angeles and Miami. Serve’s AI powered delivery robots now operate in Midtown, Old Fourth Ward and Downtown Atlanta. They offer sustainable, contactless meals to over 50,000 residents.

Serve’s robots deliver meals from local restaurants like Rreal Tacos, Ponko Chicken and Shake Shack. The national partner has also extended its robotic delivery service to Atlanta. Dr. Ali Kashani, CEO and cofounder of Serve, described Atlanta as the next strategic step because of its size, growth and innovation-driven cultural. He noted that Serve is one the first robotics companies to enter the city.

Atlanta, also known as the “Silicon Peach,” This unique solution offers a unique way to reduce congestion caused by cars through efficient, emissions-free last mile delivery. Serve has worked closely to ensure a smooth launch and expects the launch to create local jobs for robot operation and maintenance.

Rreal Tacos’ CEO Damian Otero Reggiori was excited to be among the first restaurants to adopt robotic deliveries in Atlanta, while Shake Shack Chief Growth Officer Steph So stated that the move builds upon their successful partnership with Serve & Uber Eats. Megan Jensen is Uber’s Head for Autonomous Delivery Operations. She noted that this launch marks Uber’s first use of automated delivery in the Atlanta area, reinforcing their commitment to convenience-driven innovations.

The Atlanta debut is a part of Serve’s larger plan to deploy 2,000 robots across the country by 2025. Additional U.S. markets will be announced shortly.

UBER is currently trading at $93,01 or 2.33% more on the NYSE.
