Tongji University purchases ten Unitree humanoid robotic robots for student education

Tongji University is one of China’s leading education institutions. It recently signed a RMB 8,26 million ($1.14million) contract with Unitree Robotics to purchase a general-purpose robot training platform. The purchase includes ten Unitree H1-2 robots and accessories such as high precision depth cameras and LiDAR. According to Jiupai Finance, a staff member at Tongji University involved in the procurement said that the robots would be used for training students. According to Unitree, the full-size robot H1-2 is 1.78 meters high, weighs 70 kg, and has flexible walking and running abilities with 360degdepth perceptiveness.[Ithomein Chinese]
