Watch as our coworker performs high-precision stretching routines, enabled by 31 degrees freedom. This is where robotics meets the real-world.
Thanks, Jinyan!
With its lightweight design and ability to operate continuously under extreme conditions, LYNX m20 sets a benchmark for intelligent robot platforms that work in complex scenarios.
The sound quality of this video is either excellent, or terrible. I’m not sure which.

Humanoid Loco-Manipulation has the potential to transform daily service and industrial tasks. However, achieving precise, robust control of the whole body with 3D end effector force interaction is a major challenge. Prior approaches have been limited to lightweight tasks and quadrupedal/wheeled platform. To overcome these limitations, we propose FALCON, a dual-agent reinforcement-learning-based framework for robust force-adaptive humanoid loco-manipulation.

A MRSD Team from the CMU Robotics Institute develops a robotic platform that maps environments using perceptual degradation to identify points of interests and relay this information to first responders. The goal is to reduce the risk of information blindness while increasing safety.

The E-BAR is an eldercare robot capable of lifting the body of a person, assisting in postural changes/ambulation and catching users during a fall. All of this can be done without any wearable devices or harnesses. The robot’s small footprint, with a minimum of 38 centimeters in width, allows it to navigate a typical home environment. We demonstrate E-BAR in a variety of typical home scenarios, including getting in and out of a bath, bending over to reach objects, sit-to-stand changes, and ambulation.

The stake has been officially driven in the ground at Dallas-Fort Worth. Torc’s new operation hub is now open for business. It’s much more than a dot in the map. It’s a strategic launching pad as we expand our autonomous cargo network across the southern United States.

This Stanford Robotics Center presentation is by Jonathan Hurst, at Agility Robotics. It is entitled “Humanoid Robots – From the Warehouse to Your House.” (19659043)
Are we close to having reliable, safe and useful humanoids in our homes? Recent press has suggested that it is just around the corner. It is clear that advances in Al and Robotics are driving innovation in the sector. It’s a great time to build robots! What does it take to achieve the vision of useful multipurpose robots that are human-centric? Robots that are predictable and safe in human environments? Humanoids in warehouses are a necessary but unsexy beachhead market for our future where robots will be part of everyday life. I’ll discuss why a humanoid will be more than just a sensible form-factor, it will be inevitable. I’ll also speak about the excitement surrounding a ChatGPT for robotics and what will it take to leverage Al advancements and innovation in robotics to useful, safe robots.
