The iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max are expected to arrive in September. They will feature a redesign on the rear where a large camera island will cover the entire width, Poco style (in fairness, this is an older Poco, as the Xiaomi sub-brand no longer uses such designs).

A couple of new images showing what appears to be an iPhone 17 Pro dummy have been leaked today. The images are useful because, despite the fact that the iPhone 17 Pro dummy unit has no electronics, it should be a 1:1 replica of the final product in terms of size and design.

They’re still in the same positions they were in on the iPhone 16 Pro. They’re just a part of a larger island. This looks like a new iPhone. There’s not much else to say. Rumors have it that the iPhone 17 Pro Max will switch to aluminum, ending years of experiments with titanium and stainless steel.

The Apple logo will also be repositioned on the back. It is now centered between bottom of the phone, and bottom of camera island. This design decision is sure to be controversial on the internet.
