Introducing Kairos 3.0-4B: A Revolutionary Native World Model for Embodied Intelligence
ACE ROBOTICS has unveiled Kairos 3.0-4B, a groundbreaking native world model engineered specifically for embodied intelligence. Unlike conventional models that retrofit motion capabilities onto general-purpose architectures, Kairos 3.0-4B is architected from the ground up to integrate physical laws, human behavioral patterns, and real robotic interactions. This design enables a profound physics-consistent understanding of the environment, empowering a single AI “brain” to seamlessly control robots of various forms and functionalities.
Unified Multi-Modal Architecture for Deep Physical Understanding
At the core of Kairos 3.0-4B lies a unified architecture that combines multi-modal understanding, generation, and prediction. This framework supports intricate physical-level comprehension, long-duration dynamic interactions, and precise action control. Notably, the model can generate coherent interaction sequences lasting up to seven minutes, setting a new industry standard for long-horizon embodied intelligence applications.
Lightweight Yet Powerful: Efficiency Meets Performance
Despite its compact size of 4 billion parameters, Kairos 3.0-4B surpasses many mainstream embodied world models in both accuracy and inference speed. It achieves real-time generation on edge devices such as the NVIDIA Jetson Thor T5000 platform, operating at 517 TFLOPs with a generation speed 1.5 times faster than real-time video playback. This efficiency enables direct control of physical robots without intermediary layers, allowing robots to transition from merely capable to fully operational in real-world tasks.
Cross-Embodiment Generalization and Data Integration
Kairos 3.0-4B excels in cross-embodiment adaptability, supporting configurations ranging from single-arm to dual-arm and dexterous hand robots without requiring additional training for each form factor. This versatility is achieved through the model’s deep integration of diverse data sources: real robot interaction logs, structured human behavioral datasets, and chain-of-thought reasoning sequences. By breaking down traditional data silos, the model significantly enhances the efficiency of real-world data utilization.
Benchmark-Breaking Accuracy and Speed
On the A800 GPU benchmark, Kairos 3.0-4B delivers inference speeds 72 times faster than NVIDIA’s Cosmos 2.5 model, while requiring only 23.5GB of VRAM compared to Cosmos’s 70.2GB. This remarkable performance shatters the misconception that larger models are inherently superior. The model has also achieved top rankings on multiple prestigious benchmarks, including PAI-Bench-robot (developed by Georgia Tech and CMU), WorldModelBench-robot TI2V (introduced at CVPR 2025), and NVIDIA GEAR Lab’s DreamGen Bench, excelling in physical consistency and instruction adherence.
Real-World Deployment and Industry Impact
Kairos 3.0-4B’s real-time edge deployment capability marks a significant milestone in embodied AI. Running natively on edge hardware, it can directly command full-body robotic movements-covering upper limbs, fingers, and lower limbs-without relying on intermediate control systems. This breakthrough enables robots to perform complex tasks autonomously in real-world environments, accelerating the practical adoption of embodied intelligence technologies.
Compatibility and Accessibility
The model supports seamless deployment across major robotic platforms such as Agilex PIPER, Unitree G1, and Galaxy G1. Kairos 3.0-4B is openly available to the research and development community via GitHub and Hugging Face, fostering collaboration and innovation in the field of embodied intelligence.
