Kendrick Return To “The Accountant 3”, Return
Although many of the cast members from the first “The Accountant” movie returned for the sequel that was just released, Anna Kendrick was notable by her absence.
Kendrick portrayed Dana Cummings during the lighter moments of the 2016 film. She is an accountant who works at a robotics company and notices irregularities. She and Ben Affleck’s Christian Wolff share a fun chemistry during their scenes. Gavin O’Connor, franchise director, revealed to The New York Times that if a third film is made, Kendrick had already committed to being a part. O’Connor says that he and Bill Dubuque had preliminary discussions [about a third film]about Kendrick’s participation in the series
. I personally am running from another puzzle film, which we have done twice now. We’ve discussed the idea of bringing Anna Kendrick to the movie. Affleck says: “We’re still hoping she likes us.” O’Connor replies: “Actually Ben, we’ve been texting.” She said she’s 100 percent in if we wish.
Affleck also says he’s ready for a trilogy and is “just awaiting another great script.” O’Connor responds: “Actually, Ben, she and I have been texting.”
