Nike revealed a new innovation, Project Amplify. It is a robotic-powered shoe system for walking and running. It’s cool, but you may have to wait a while to try it.
This system is made up of a motor with a drive belt, and a rechargeable cuff-battery integrated into a carbon-fiber-plated running shoe. According to Nike, Project Amplify (19459031) is designed to enhance natural lower leg and foot movement.

Nike has developed Project Amplify, which is designed to make walking, jogging, and running slower easier and more enjoyable. The system is compared to an electric bicycle. Project Amplify targets athletes who run between 10 and 12 minute miles, rather than competitive runners.
Nike and robotics partner Dephy created Project Amplify. Nike is still testing the system, but plans to make it available to consumers. “in the coming years.”
The footwear company has also released this year a pair for warming up and cooling down, the Hyperboots. They feature air-compression and heating massage technology. TheHyperboots are $900.
