Innovative Wearable Robotics Company Based in Palo Alto
Located in the heart of Palo Alto, California, our emerging robotics startup is dedicated to developing advanced wearable robotic solutions designed to enhance human mobility and endurance.
Revolutionizing Load-Carrying with Cutting-Edge Technology
Our flagship product is engineered to significantly lessen the physical strain associated with transporting heavy loads over long distances. This breakthrough device empowers users to travel farther, carry greater weight, and experience reduced fatigue, transforming the way people approach physically demanding tasks.
Active Field Deployment and User-Centric Development
Although still in the early stages, our technology is already being tested by real users in some of the most challenging environments. This hands-on approach ensures continuous, direct feedback that drives rapid iteration and improvement of our hardware.
Strong Backing and Growth in the Bay Area
Supported by Y Combinator and a consortium of top-tier deep-tech investors, we have recently expanded our operations to the Bay Area to accelerate team growth. We are actively recruiting three Principal Engineers to join our stealth-mode team, with plans to unveil our innovations soon.
Exciting Senior Engineering Opportunities
We offer competitive compensation packages ranging from $200,000 to $250,000 annually, complemented by 1-2% equity and comprehensive benefits. These full-time, onsite roles in Palo Alto provide engineers with complete ownership over their respective domains, enabling direct impact without bureaucratic hurdles. Your contributions will be deployed to end-users within weeks.
Principal Mechanical Engineer
Take charge of the mechanical design platform, including structural components, joint mechanisms, actuator integration, durability, and ease of field maintenance. Ideal candidates have experience designing hardware for robotics, humanoid systems, or other sophisticated actuated machinery.
Principal Firmware Engineer
Lead the development of the embedded firmware stack, encompassing real-time brushless DC (BLDC) motor control, sensor fusion (IMUs, encoders, current sensors), over-the-air updates, and debugging tools. Prior experience with real-time firmware for autonomous or robotic systems is essential.
Principal Software Engineer
Own the software ecosystem, including device-to-cloud telemetry, testing and logging databases, data pipelines, and user-facing applications. Candidates should have a proven track record building scalable software solutions for hardware fleets and their operators.
