Vertaxi Unveils Enhanced M1 Electric VTOL, Secures 200 Global Orders at China Import Expo

At the 8th China International Import Expo held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10, Vertaxi, a subsidiary of the Taisen Group, introduced its latest iteration of the M1 passenger electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft. This upgraded model represents a major advancement in the realm of low-altitude urban air mobility. Vertaxi also established a dedicated “low altitude mobility takeoff zone” within the Auto Hall, which quickly became one of the event’s standout attractions.

Expanding International Reach: Strategic Orders from the Middle East

Vertaxi’s global footprint expanded significantly as Saudi Arabia’s Aerial Solutions, a subsidiary of ACES and supported by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), placed a substantial order for 100 M1B cargo eVTOL units. These aircraft are intended to enhance offshore energy transport and logistics operations across the Middle East. This deal marks a deepening partnership aimed at accelerating the commercialization and large-scale deployment of eVTOL technology in the region’s low-altitude transport sector.

Domestic Collaborations to Propel China’s Low-Altitude Economy

On the home front, Vertaxi forged a strategic framework agreement with BOC Finance Leasing Co. Ltd. and the Bank of China’s Shanghai Branch. This collaboration includes plans to acquire 100 M1 passenger eVTOLs, underscoring a shared commitment to fast-track the adoption of eVTOL solutions and stimulate growth within China’s burgeoning low-altitude mobility market.

Innovating with Hydrogen and Smart Networking Technologies

Vertaxi also announced partnerships with Aerospace Hydrogen Energy Technology Co. Ltd. and the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology. These alliances focus on pioneering hydrogen-powered eVTOL platforms and integrating intelligent networking systems, aiming to drive the industrialization and widespread implementation of next-generation low-altitude mobility solutions.

Strengthening Leadership in Urban Air Mobility

With a total of 200 new orders secured globally, Vertaxi is solidifying its position as a frontrunner in the evolving sectors of urban air mobility and intelligent flight technologies. This surge in demand reflects growing confidence in eVTOL aircraft as viable solutions for future transportation challenges.
