World Robot Summit: 10-12 October 20,25, OSAKA JAPAN
Enjoy today’s videos with IROS 2025 ()! 19-25 October 2025 in HANGZHOU.
In this demonstration, we demonstrate a new system that allows drones to safely land on moving vehicles up to 110 km/h. Our approach, which combines lightweight shock absorbers and reverse thrust, dramatically expands the landing area, making it more robust to wind, timing and vehicle movement. This breakthrough opens up the possibility of reliable high-speed landings for drones in real-world situations.

Thank you, Alexis!
This video is a parody of KAIST’s humanoid moonwalk. We recreated the iconic move using the Tesollo DG-5F robotic hand. A playful experiment that shows that not only humanoid robotics, but also robotic fingers, can “dance.”
Universal Robots developed the first collaborative robot 20 years ago. You made it bigger. Our cobot wasn’t just technology. In your hands, the cobot became more than just a robot: a teammate and problem-solver. It was a catalyst for change. From factories to laboratories, from classrooms and warehouses. This is the story of the last 20 years. Today, we celebrate the past 20 years.
DLR’s newly developed assistive robot Maya is designed to help people with severe disabilities lead more independent lives. The new robotic arm has been designed for seamless wheelchair integration. It features optimized kinematics, ground-level accessibility, and compatibility for standing functions.

DLRContoro Lab and HARCO have launched an open source initiative, ROS MCP-Server. This initiative connects AI models with robots (for example Claude, GPT and Gemini) using a robot OS and the Model Context Protocol. This software allows AI to communicate in robot language with multiple ROS nodes. We believe that it will enable robots to perform previously impossible tasks due to limited intelligence. It will also help robotics engineers to program robots more effectively, and allow non-experts to interact without deep robotics expertise.

The correct answer to “Can you beat the robot arm at tic tac toe?” is “No.” You cannot. And you can’t even beat a human if they are skilled.

AgileXI was honored to host the Microsoft AI team as part of a larger educational collaboration between the University of Texas at Austin and Microsoft AI. During their stay, they shared with us this wonderful video of the lab facilities.
Moody light is second only to primary-colored lighting in making a laboratory look sciencey.

The University of Texas at Austin HCRL ( ]]No longer is the robot a sci-fi concept. They’re evolving quickly. AI teaches them to adapt, to learn and to even respond to questions with advanced intelligence. Aaron Saunders explains how this leap transforms everything, from simple controls, to full-motion abilities. AI helps robots become more valuable at home and in the workplace. While there are challenges related to safety, reliability and security, AI has a significant impact on this.
