Reachy Miniis an expressive open-source robot that allows for human-robot interactions, creative coding and AI experimentation. It’s a gateway into robotics AI, fully programmable in Python and soon JavaScript and Scratch, and priced at $299. It’s fun, customizable, ready to be incorporated into your next coding project.

It’s great that Pollen and Reachy have found a new home with Hugging Face. But I hope they realize that they will never be allowed to change the robot’s facial features. O-o

General purpose robots promise an era where household assistance will be ubiquitous and reliable, intelligent help will be available to support aging in place. These robots will unlock the human potential by enabling humans to shape and interact in a new way with the physical environment. Large Behavior Models are at the heart of this transformation – embodied AI system that takes in robot sensor data and outputs actions. LBMs are pre-trained on large, diverse manipulation data sets and are the key to realizing robust general-purpose robot intelligence. We still know very little about the benefits and costs of LBMs, despite their increasing popularity. This uncertainty is due to the difficulty in conducting large-scale, rigorous evaluations of real-world robots. In the end, algorithm and dataset designs are often guided more by intuition than by evidence, which hinders progress. Our work aims at changing that.
Kinisi Robotics advances the frontier of physical Intelligence by developing AI-driven robot platforms capable of autonomous, high-speed pick-and-place in unstructured environments. This video shows Kinisi’s wheeled humanoid performing dexterous item sorting and bin stacking using closed loop perception and motion planning. The system combines multi-arm coordination with real-time vision and high-bandwidth actuation to achieve robust manipulation, without relying on fixed infrastructure. Kinisi integrates custom hardware with onboard AI to enable scalable deployment of general purpose robots in dynamic warehouse environments, pushing towards broader commercial readiness for embedded AI systems.
Thank you, Bren!
We propose a modularized cross embodiment Transformer that is pre-trained on human data, and fine-tuned using robot data. This allows for high data efficiency, effective transfer from human-to-quadrupedal embodiments and versatile manipulation skills, such as unimanual or bimanual, precise tool-use and long-horizon tasks like cat litter scooping.
Thanks, Yaru!
LEIYN, a quadruped robotic device with an active waist-joint, is equipped with a dynamic joint. It is the fastest chimney climber in the world, thanks to dynamic motions that are learned through reinforcement learning.

Thanks, Keita!
Quadrupedal Robots are just bipedal machines that haven’t yet learned to walk with two legs.

In this study, a biomimetic module for tendon driven legged robots is introduced. The module uses robot motion to activate sloshing liquid metals which remove surface oxides and improve healing strength. Validated on a monopod robot of life-size, the module allows repeated squatting following impact damage. This is the first demonstration in robotic applications that actively self-heals.
Thank you, Kento!
Someone had a great idea back in the day to put wheels on quadrupeds.

I don’t know anything about this video, except that it is very satisfying and that it comes from a YouTube user who hasn’t posted for 6 years.
The AI WORKER is now available in a new Swerve Drive Configuration, optimized for logistic environments. The swerve mobile base, with its agile and omnidirectional movements, can efficiently perform a variety of logistics tasks, such as item transportation, shelf navigation, or precise positioning in narrow aisles.
You can have a bimanual robot without legs? I am shocked.

[CA]We are excited to announce that our new headquarters is in Palo Alto. As we grow, consolidating the Sunnyvale [CA] team and Moss [Norway] under one roof will speed up our production and get NEO into your homes.
I don’t think moving from Norway to California is a major upgrade.

In our second installment of the Moonshot Podcast Deep Dive series of video interviews, X’s Captain Moonshots Astro Teller sits with Andre Prager – former Chief Engineer at Wing – for a discussion about the early days of Wing, and how the team overcame some of the toughest engineering challenges in order to develop simple lightweight delivery drones which are now used every day on three continents.
