UBTECH a Chinese humanoid robots company unveiled its latest full sized commercial robot, Walker C and panda themed robot, Youyou at BEYOND expo 2025 in Macau. This global tech innovation event was held from May 21-24.
In an amusing twist, Walker C, Youyou and BEYOND Expo cofounders Jason Ho, and Dr. Gang Lu. The robots turned their heads and waved on stage while the two co-founders talked backstage.
To speed up real-world adoption, UBTECH combines simulation-based training and real-world data gathering through practical deployment. The Walker S series has successfully completed initial training at auto factories and is making progress with software and algorithm stability in industrial scenarios.
UBTECH announced a landmark in March by deploying dozens Walker S1 robots for the first multi-robot multi-task collaborative session. According to the company, using swarm intelligence the robots worked in harmony within complex settings, such as final assembly line, SPS (the German word for Programmable Logic Controller), instrument zones, quality assurance areas, and doors installation stations.
