This financing round was spearheaded by CMB International and China Asset Management, with strategic contributions from investment arms affiliated with China Telecom and China Unicom. New participants such as Yunhui Capital, SMIC Juyuan, and Fortune Capital also joined, with existing investors like Fortune Capital increasing their holdings.

The fresh capital will be channeled into expanding research and development efforts, recruiting elite talent, and accelerating the advancement of DEEP Robotics’ quadruped and humanoid platforms. The company aims to transition embodied intelligence from isolated technological milestones to comprehensive system-level solutions that can be widely deployed across industries.

Milestones in Robotics Innovation

2025 has been a landmark year for DEEP Robotics. In April, the company introduced the M20 Lynx, the industry’s first hybrid quadruped robot combining wheels and legs for enhanced mobility. By October, they launched the DR02, an all-weather, industrial-grade humanoid robot designed for demanding environments. November saw the debut of DeepVLA 1.0, an advanced vision-language embodied navigation system that integrates perception and language understanding for autonomous operation.

DEEP Robotics’ technologies are now deployed across 44 countries and 34 provinces in China, supporting a wide array of applications. Their robots have notably cut operation and maintenance expenses by approximately 70% at China Southern Power Grid substations. Additionally, they perform security patrols at Yiwu International Trade City, assist in wildlife monitoring within the Hoh Xil Nature Reserve, and have expanded into international markets including North American logistics centers and the futuristic NEOM megacity project in Saudi Arabia.
