The Robotic Tibetan Antelope is built upon the Jueying X30 quadruped robotic platform, developed by Hangzhou DEEP Robotics Technology, with the realistic animal design crafted by the Suzhou Bailuming team. Equipped with advanced AI algorithms, the robot autonomously navigates challenging terrains such as snowfields, mountainous regions, swamps, rivers, and deserts. Its operational range extends up to 2 kilometers in open landscapes like Hoh Xil, significantly reducing the need for human presence and minimizing disturbance to wildlife.

Long-term patrolling in Hoh Xil is physically demanding and often perilous for rangers dedicated to protecting this fragile ecosystem. Qiupa Tashi, from the Law Enforcement Supervision Section of the Hoh Xil Administration Office under the Sanjiangyuan National Park Administration, emphasizes that integrating robust technologies such as robotics and AI provides essential support to conservation teams.
