According the latest data released from market research firm IDC global shipments for smart robotic vacuum cleaners in the first quarter reached 5.096 millions units, marking an increase of 11.9% year-on-year. The shipment growth rate has exceeded 20 percent for two consecutive quarterly periods. In terms of brand performance, Roborock was the top global smart robotic vacuum cleaner vendor in the first quarter. Ecovacs, Dreame and Xiaomi were the next five brands, with respective market shares of 19,3%, 13,6%, 11,3%, 9,9% and 9.3%. Notably, all four of the top vendors are Chinese companies.
